Memories

The fruit salad game, bunk beds of our “dorm room”, lunch time breaks, wet canoe races,… all run through my mind, bringing back warm memories of camping at Camp Cedar Falls. What is forever etched in my mind, however, is the people. I think of Tuù Anh who devoted so much time into making the trip successful, Chò Minh who was always there with help and support, and Chò Hieàn whose smile brightened each day. Quang was so helpful in proiding transpotation, Tuù Anh’s friends, Sunny, Larry, and Jay, uplifted us with great music, Frances led out in the sharing time, and Chris, Baûo, and Jeff’s airplane ride all made us laugh. I loved the times when we got together to worship and pray. Baûo’s closing prayer made a lasting impression when he said he was thankful to grow together with the group and with God. He said that if he wouldn’t have come, he would have missed a lot. All these memories made the camp definitely worthwhile. My list of memories could go on an don. I believe the theme verse, “…your faith is growing more and more and the love everyone of you has for each other is increasing” II Thes. 1:3, was fulfilled. Thanks for the memories everyone!
