Go to Raging Waters. That’s what some of the youth members of the Vietnamese Adventist Church at El Monte did on August 16, 1996; and we had fun.
Early in the morning, Alex and I woke up, got our bags and went in the car. Our mom gave us a ride to the Pastor’s house. There we had breakfast and left for the trip ahead of us.
When we arrived there, we rented a locker to keep our belongs. The whole group then separated.
First we went to a mild water slide called “Tree Top Runs.” We then went to a ride in the dark called ”Dark Hole.” Next we went to a slided that went to a group ride called “Thunder Rapids” two time!
At noon, we had lunch anf went to the arcade. We went to a playground and took a floating ride. In all this fun though, I got “lost and found.” On our trip home, we all talked about our trip Raging Waters. We thank God for helping us on the way there. I would also like to thank Pastor and Mrs. Vinh and all the people who made this happen.
